Our conserative Bible believing view is reflected in our church activities.
Our children take trips and participate in fishing,
theme parks, and learning about God's creation. See
our Fishing Page from our September trip to Gillis PFA and our trip to
Chehaw Park in November. Also, we enjoyed a very special
visit to Guido Gardens in December.
We had been looking forward to
our trip to Fort Discovery in Augusta, GA for a couple of months and we went on March 8th. It was awesome!!
Their Bible Study
is made to be fun by good teachers in Sunday School and two Children
Churches.
In November, our older children's Discipleship Training class presented a puppet show, "Campfire" a study of the
Book of Proverbs,
and on February 10 they presented Part Two. Part Three was presented on Sunday, May 4. Those who were able
to attend received a real blessing from watching these young people
share what they are learning about God's Word.
Our youth participate in Bible studies; social trips; and in training our younger children.
Friendship Club Our
seniors meet once a month for a friendship meal as well as going on
shopping sprees and "mystery trips". Join us for our next meeting in May.
Twice a year the men of New Bethel
change the oil in vehicles belonging to our seniors and widows.
Vehicle belts, hoses, tires and fluids are checked on these occasions.
An ongoing daily prayer chain is one of the most powerful activities we have at NBBC.
A Mustard Seed ministry provides a children's level devotion each Sunday morning.
Men's Ministries and Women On Mission
provide training and opportunity for mission and ministry. We
meet each third Thursday at 7:00 PM.
Meals with a Message. Once
a month our ladies prepare a meal and send it to our shut-ins.
Some of these are members and others are in the neighborhood. Our
men take the plates and visit with the shut-ins or sick for a few
minutes. This number of meals averages from 20-25 per month.
We recently had Men's Day at
New Bethel that included a "Bake Off" on Sunday night. We
had some delicious entries and the judges said they had a difficult
time picking the winners for some of the divisions.
We have pictures but, sorry, we can't provide you with a sample
taste of the winning recipes. :-)

I am the vine, ye are the branches:
He that abideth in me, and I in him,
the
same bringeth forth much fruit:
for without me ye can do nothing.
