On Saturday, March 8, 2008, eighteen (18) children and sixteen (16) adults enjoyed a fun day at Fort Discovery in Augusta, GA. The weather was a little bit chilly (cold!) but we had beautiful sunshine and no rain. God blessed us with safe travel for our adventure and we thank Him. We also thank Him for our wonderful bus drivers who always take very good care of us. If you like math, science and technology (or even if you think you don't) you'll love Fort Discovery. We saw and did so many interesting things there. Just take a look at some of our pictures and you'll see for yourself. We also had fun and learned many things on the bus as we traveled. Thank you to the adults who went with us and helped make sure we had a safe and fun time. One of them was even brave enough to try things first just to show the kids how it worked and there was nothing to be afraid of. Thanks, Mr. Jeff!! |
